5 ways of Youth Integration in Entrepreneurship

Youth integration simply means youths engage in different aspects to enhance economic growth in their communities by taking an active role in decision making. For instance, in schools, Public and private Enterprise

Youth integration in business is something which needs to be worked upon in all sectors. That’s be it private or public institutions. With youth being the leading majority globally, it is of great importance to integrate them in all levels of the developmental activities. 


Basically, there is a lot to be desired in as far as embracing the youths in different activities particularly in business opportunities. I personally, find it not fit enough for both private and public sectors making it difficult for the youths to create job opportunities through entrepreneurship. You may agree with me that mostly the youths are not fully engaged in as far as ideation to execution processes let alone being a chamber of disposal. 


That being the case in this blog I will highlight 10 Ways of Youth Integration in Entrepreneurship. It is high time the youths are fully engaged in all stages of the developmental activities.

If youths are being given a chance to take part in all levels in both private as well as public sector the world will be a better place. 


1. Youth Must develop innovative ideas in Business

Yes, youths are becoming more creative and innovative these days but unfortunate enough they are not being given the deserving opportunities to turn their ideas into reality. Even though the environment is like that there is a need to be smart enough in developing ideas as only the extraordinary makes it to the top bearing in mind that there are lots of youths.



 


For one to make it to the top the idea must be smart enough and stand out in a millions of pools of ideas. I think by working together can help to solve that one as they say 

                   “If you want to go far go Together”


With that in mind the youths must embrace partnerships for a Goal as one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.  


2. Formations of Business Associations in a Country


Your Idea is very great, that’s what lots of people tell you all the time when you share your idea. That’s great as it gives you a little more motivation to work on your idea. 


There is saying:


“No Man is an island”


I believe that sounds familiar to you but if you think deeply in relation to business you will find that it’s more like a few words.


Running a business is not for faint hearted as there are lots of frustrations along the way. The statistics show that lots of startup ideas die even before they start implementing them.



3. Reviewing of the Resolutions of the Public-private Sectors


How many times have you thought of reviewing both government policies, acts and regulations? Any thought of how they make sense in impacting the communities?


It's not a secret that a lot of youths don't give much attention to the policies. 





This is a great challenge for the present youths as that makes it harder for a better constitution in new bills and debates for national importance.


Simply by familiarizing with resolutions you will find it easy to understand the current situation which bridges to the future integration.



4. Establishment of the Reforms


Reforms are called for if needs arise. As a youth you must actively participate in reforms and call for the change which is deemed right.



5. Gender Responsibility


Inclusiveness is very vital as far as development is all about. 


The mindset change should be a core topic in all levels of both public and private sectors. Decades ago there were some careers which were deemed fit for men only. 


Even though the time has evolved we still have men with archaic thoughts. They don't find it well having females in the so called male dominated fields such as engineering.





Nowadays we have lots of trained female engineers. But with the mindset some few forks think that they are not capable. 


It's high time we embrace inclusiveness in all sectors without a gendered approach.

We should be brave enough to change both the private and Public sector. It can even start by advocating in your small communities.

It doesn't have to be that big for a start. You can start working with your like minded friends and find an area to contribute.
